. Nib and feed assembly correctly aligned within section and re-sealed into barrel with Montblanc special adhesive. Gold filled overlay delicately cleaned and hand polished. Reassembled, dip write tested and finally flushed with clean water.
Pen barrel and cap are free from noticeable scratches, with no dents, cracks or hairlines. Using a loupe, a slight colour difference can be observed through the overlay at rear of pen where repair work was carried out. Piston travel has been limited, reducing overall ink capacity by approximately 10%. There are no personalisation's. Gold plating to fretwork, clip and trim is excellent. Green resin cap and barrel have been polished prior to re-assemply of gold filled overlay. We would classify this pen as being in excellent cosmetic condition, mechanically sound, but with internal modifications.
