The Meisterstück 12, 14, 22 and 24 replaced the torpedo shaped 142, 144 and 146 series of the 1950’s. The hooded nib, the triangular shape of the clip and slip-cap show typical design trends of the 1960’s. The Montblanc 12 is slimmer and a lighter than it’s predecessors. The double broad stub nib, although fairly firm, is an absolute delight to write with.
