Description:
Conway Stewart 60 vintage fountain pen c.1958, Blue herringbone barrel and cap with wide gold plated cap band. Gold filled pocket clip with Conway Stewart logo below cap ring. Screw on cap with polished aluminium jewel retaining pocket clip. Lever filling, with C.S. logo stamped to round end of lever. Pen is heat stamped on barrel 'Conway Stewart 60' top line 'MADE IN ENGLAND' bottom line. Pen is fitted with a 14K gold medium nib and ebonite ink feed. Pen is supplied in original Conway Stewart card box, with guarantee and user instructions.

Restoration/ Service
Pen has been fully disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned. New ink sac fitted. Nib and feed removed from section, nib honed and re-aligned with feeder. Pen barrel and cap delicately hand polished. Reassembled, write tested and finally flushed with clean water.
General Condition
Pen barrel and cap are free from cracks, hairlines and noticeable surface scratches. There are no personalisation. Gold plating to pocket clip, cap band and filling lever is in very good condition, with no brassing or pitting. Barrel and cap have a high gloss sheen. Cap clip is firm. Cap to barrel threads are positive with good alignment between pocket clip and filling lever. Overall pen is ready to write and is in excellent condition. The pen box and paperwork are also in good condition
