Piston vacuum checked for good seal. Pen barrel and cap delicately hand polished. Nib and feed assembly re-sealed into section. Write tested and finally flushed with clean water.
Pen barrel and cap are free from cracks and hairlines. There are no visible dents or scratches. No personalisation. Exceptionally clear barrel. Gold plating to pocket clip and cap lip band shows no sign of ware. Engraving to cap lip ring is excellent. Piston screw mechanism is smooth and draws full barrel of ink. Cap to barrel threads are firm and positive. We would classify this pen as being in very excellent condition. Pen is supplied in original Pelikan 140 card box, complete with original guarantee and operating instructions.
Classic green striated Pelikan 140, showing very little signs of use over the past 60 years. The kugel (Ball ended) nib is very much an all rounder, accommodating most styles of writing. The box, like the pen is in excellent condition.
