Reassembled, write tested and finally flushed with clean water.
Pen barrel and cap are free from cracks, hairlines and noticeable surface scratches. There are no personalisation. Gold plating to clip and cap bands is excellent with no pitting or age related ware. Overall pen is ready to write and is in very excellent condition.
This Montblanc Meisterstuck 146 in black resin, is the fore-runner to the current Le Grande model. Due to specification modifications over the years, in particular, the mono-tone nib, round split BHR feed, clip ring markings and brass piston screw, we are able to date this particular pen to c.1985/89. Barrel carries the original nib size and made in West Germany sticker.
